The park of Villa Serbelloni is located on the steep promontory that separates the two branches of the lake, where, according to tradition, Plinio il Giovane owned a villa called Tragoedia.
Today the villa hosts conferences and study stays of the Foundation.
Only the gardens are open to the public, a suggestive tangle of paths immersed in the native and exotic vegetation and embellished with terraces, statues and artificial caves. A quiet walk to enjoy a superb view of the branches of Lake Como and Lecco, while from the fortification on the promontory, view of the north branch of the lake and the Prealps.
